Campagnaro has set his sights on Champions League football rather than the Scudetto...

Napoli defender Hugo Campagnaro has played down talk of the Partenopei winning the Scudetto this season, despite their lofty position in the Serie A standings. The southern Italian club are in second-place, just three points back ofMilan.

"The Scudetto? We can dream but it is very difficult," he toldRadio Marte. "There are teams better equipped than we are."

The Azzurri will face a tricky trip to the Stadio Olimpico to play Roma on Saturday evening with the Giallorossi coming off some disappointing results against Brescia and Inter.

"They have a great team. [Mirko] Vucinic is doing very well. [Marco] Borriello is a high level striker. We must be at our best," Campagnaro continued.

"We always want to win regardless of the opponent. We always put in total commitment on the field regardless of the opponent. We face one match at a time and then we'll see the final result. Our goal must be [reaching] the Champions League."

The 30-year-old also hailed the winter signing of defender Victor Ruiz from Espanyol.

"He is a physically strong player and has good technique. The coach will decide how to use him," he concluded.
