There were 15,000 of them for an away match and they really helped us get three deserved points". On the penalty: "I shot down the middle as I know Viviano well and I didn't want to take any risks"

MILAN, 11 April 2011 - Marek Hamsik scored his 10th goal in the league this season against Bologna to put Napoli 2-0 and make the result safe. Just a few weeks ago he handed the penalty-taking duties over to Edinson Cavani, who missed the game at the "Dall'Ara" stadium because he was banned. He put the ball away in a very convincing manner, however. He also put in a very convincing performance in the match. And even though AC Milan's win in Florence slightly dampened the enthusiasm of Mazzarri's team, the Slovak writing on his website thanked the Napoli fans, who in Bologna had made him feel as if he were playing at home.

FROM HIS WEBSITE — "I want to thank our fans. They were amazing in Bologna. There were 15,000 of them even though we were playing 600 km from Naples. It was like playing at San Paolo and this really helped us. We also played very well, especially during the first half. We deserved to be in the lead and then we controlled the game well. I am very happy about the three points".

THE PENALTY — Hamsik also spoke about the penalty: "I didn't want to take any risks and so I shot down the middle - said the midfielder -. I know Viviano very well because he was my teammate when I played for Brescia".
